Incorporating the GRADE assessment of quality of evidence in your Cochrane Review may be a challenging task. However, it is important to do it properly, as the GRADE assessment plays a key role in communicating the results of systematic reviews to users. This resource will help you to adequately bring GRADE methods and ratings into the text of your Cochrane Review.
This resource is based on the results of the pre-publication screening of new intervention reviews, conducted by the Cochrane Editorial Unit (CEU) since September 2013.
After using this resource, you should be able to...
- Describe methods for assessing the quality of the evidence in your protocol and full review
- Explain your decisions about the quality of the evidence in reporting of results
- Incorporate information about the quality of evidence in your review
- Draw on quality of evidence ratings when summarising and interpreting the results
