The Joanna Briggs Institute GRADE Center is the only GRADE Center in Australia and New Zealand and offers a one-day GRADE Workshop.
The mission of the Joanna Briggs Institute Adelaide GRADE center is to train, promote, disseminate and implement GRADE approaches within and across the systematic review and guideline development community within Australia and New Zealand and across the global Joanna Briggs Collaboration.
There are four overarching aims of the center, listed below:
- To train, promote, disseminate and implement GRADE methods throughout the Australian community of guideline developers and systematic reviewers.
- To act as a central hub for the Oceania region for GRADE expertise and to build capacity in GRADE methods through mentorship, support and collaboration.
- To contribute to the development of GRADE methods through active participation with GRADE project groups.
- To train, promote, disseminate and implement GRADE methods throughout the Joanna Briggs Collaboration and all contributors to JBI work.
The Workshop is designed for systematic reviewers and clinical guideline developers and others wanting to learn more about GRADE methodology, particularly the creation of Summary of Findings tables and Evidence Profiles. Includes theory along with hands-on activities.
