Cochrane Switzerland and the Institute of social and preventive medicine, Lausanne (Switzerland) jointly organise the Meta-analysis: Advanced methods using the STATA software course.
This 2.5 days course is dedicated to the statistical meta-analysis method, which is the key to quantitative data synthesis within the framework of a systematic review.
Targeting primarily researchers and authors of systematic reviews, it will use the Stata software and tackle in detail the methodological and statistical elements which will enable the participants to deepen their knowledge of the meta-analysis technique.
It will be preceded by a one-day training for participants wanting to renew their knowledge of STATA (19 September 2017). Mandatory for those who are new to Stata and highly recommended for participants wanting to freshen up their knowledge of Stata.
