This lesson is part of an introductory series developed by Cochrane Screening & Diagnostic Test Methods Group to support authors in the production of DTA reviews. This is Lesson 7.2 of Module 7: Analysing and presenting results. A full list of currently available or planned lessons is available here.
This lesson is about using RevMan to create different types of analyses for a Cochrane DTA Review. Specifically, it demonstrates how to create an analysis of a single index test and how to compare two or more index tests. Investigation of heterogeneity for those analyses is described. It is worth noting that methods for undertaking the analyses are beyond the scope of this lesson. Other lessons in this module address the theory and practical application of the methods recommended for test accuracy meta-analysis.
