This lesson is part of an introductory series developed by Cochrane Screening & Diagnostic Test Methods Group to support authors in the production of DTA reviews. This is Lesson 9.1 of Module 9: Improving and updating the review. A full list of currently available or planned lessons is available here.
This lesson describes the changes in the RevMan 5.2 in comparison to the 5.1 version of the software. The biggest change in RevMan 5.2 is the Quality Assessment Structure. This allows reviewers to use the new QUADAS 2 tool for assessing the risk of bias and applicability concerns for included studies. A change in the format of the Characteristics of Included Studies tables is also explained in this lesson.

- use the RevMan 5.2 to present the quality assessment and characteristics of studeis included in your DTA review
