The following video clips are the first part of a webinar delivered as part of the Cochrane Learning Live programme.

The webinar was presented by Dr Nancy Santesso from the Department of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. She is also a member of the GRADE Working Group.

In the clips below, Dr Santesso introduces the topic of GRADE assessment of the quality of evidence by explaining why and when the GRADE assessment should be done. She also provides an introduction into the worked example she will be using in building a ‘Summary of findings’ table in GRADEpro GDT software.
