Groups may have a number of sources that they regularly handsearch. To minimise duplication of effort, there is a list of journals that have already been handsearched, which includes dates of search and whether the search has been completed. This is available via the Handsearched Journals tab in the Cochrane Register of Studies Online (Cochrane Account username and password required). The list should be checked before handsearching activities are carried out to ensure that the journal has not already been handsearched. Cochrane Information Specialists are able to edit records within the list and add new journals as required.
